The 5 Worst John Cusack Movies
I figured it's about time to take a look at some of the worst movies by John Cusack. Not for any particular reason.
#5. Dragon Blade - 34/100 - (Peacock): We actually reviewed this Chinese movie with Donnie a few years ago and it was baffling. It's about a Chinese general (Jackie Chan) fighting a Roman General (John Cusack) fighting another Roman general (Adrian Brody). It's real weird, and my personal favorite highlight is when Cusack and Chan have this duel. Is anything less believable than Cusack actually doing any of these moves?
#4. America's Sweethearts - 24/100 - (Hoopla, Vudu): This movie STINKS! And what is frustrating about it is that it has an awesome cast(with the exception of Cusack) including Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hank Azaria, Stanley Tucci, Seth Green, Alan Arkin and Christopher Walken. Thats a great combo! But instead of capitalizing on that talent, it's just shitty romcom drivel with barely a few funny lines.
#3. Martian Child - 23/100 - (Hoopla, Vudu): This movie is about John Cusack adopting a kid who keeps saying that he is from Mars. It's basically Big Daddy, except without any humor or fun.
#2. The Frozen Ground -12/100 - (Vudu): The best part about this movie is Nicholas Cage. The worst part about it is John Cusack. It's about a real life Alaskan serial killer, played by Cusack, that is basically a boring ass documentary. It was a movie made to rot in Walmart DVD bins.
#1 Arsenal - 8/100 - (Prime Video, Roku, Vudu): This is one of the worst movie's I've ever seen. It's a bizzare crime story that features one of the craziest Nic Cage performances I have ever seen. Cage makes it actually funny, though. Cusack plays some sort of undercover cop guy that dresses like Steve Van Zandt
